A partnership built on trust.
Standing in front of their brand-new home, the Collier family canβt help but marvel: βHere we are, the Clayton Epic Summit. Look at this thing. This thingβs massive. You canβt beat it.β For the Colliers, this moment is the culmination of years of friendship, determination, and the kind of support that only a truly family-oriented company can provide.
Their journey with Braustin Homes began long before they ever set foot in their new home. The Colliers first met Alberto through Leroy, a family friend who bought one of the first homes Braustin ever sold and also became a sponsor for their race cars. βAlberto really liked the idea of the race car, so Braustin being one of the bigger stickers next to our main sponsor attracts a lot of attention.β That shared community spirit and promise-βI told Alberto a long time ago, back when they first had the first site on the other side of 281, I told him, Iβm going to buy a house from you. I donβt know when, but Iβm going to buy a houseβ-set the foundation for a partnership built on trust.
The road to the Summit wasnβt easy. βItβs been about a year-long process here to get this house on the property, man, itβs not been easy by any means. I did have to do a lot of rezoning and platting and everything with the city, and Braustin was still there helping throughout that entire process, everything that I needed for the city.β Whenever the Colliers had a question or hit a roadblock, Alberto was there to guide them. βHe always stuck with us. It wasnβt ever just, well, I know theyβre not calling, so weβre just going to forget about them. Even when our house buying process kind of slowed down and we werenβt really looking as hard, he would still call, βHey, weβre still here. Whenever youβre ready for your house, just let us know.ββ
Now, as they start a family, the Colliers know theyβve found the perfect fit. The Summitβs spacious design-over 2,200 square feet with four or five bedrooms, three full baths, and a flex room that can become an office or game room-gives them all the space they need. βItβs perfect size. It has an office for what I have to do, three full baths. You really canβt beat that. Thatβs really hard to find, even in a traditional house.β The open floor plan, massive center island, and dedicated den for a game room or man cave check every box. βSunday football season comes around, the Chiefs are on, jerseys hanging up, my Super Bowl rings sitting there on the shelf-the man cave.β
The Colliers are already dreaming about the future: adding a front porch, building a garage, putting up a fence. βMy goal for this year is I want to stand on my porch and I want to shoot a dove off of the front porch. Thatβs my goal for this year, and obviously we got plenty of room over here, so we want a garage and all that fun stuff.β
But what truly sets Braustin apart is the way they treat people. βBraustin is really family oriented. Thereβs a lot of dealerships out here, but thereβs a lot of factory dealerships, meaning that they just want your sale. They donβt care about the personal throughout the entire buying process. Braustin is a company that, βHey, bring your family over. Letβs check it out. Letβs walk through this one. Letβs see what fits your family best.β You give them your price range and theyβll work with you. Itβs not like, βOh, this is our price. This is what youβre going to pay.β Letβs work together.β
After a year of teamwork, communication, and anticipation, the Colliers can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. βIf I was to do it all over again, to do the entire process again, I would still go with Braustin again. Thank you, Alberto. Thank you so much. Itβs here. Weβre getting there. Weβre almost done. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel.β
For the Collier family, the Clayton Epic Summit isnβt just a house-itβs the home they always envisioned, made possible by a team that truly cares.
